APPRECIATION |
Cloudy dark orange amber, blue hue, and storming activity. Very light foamy white 1 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with poor legs. Flavors of blueberries, wheat, pears, tart, sweet grains, wild yeast, coriander, herbal spices. A bit sugary, quite sour and fruity, slightly candy like. Slick full body with almost champagne like carbonation, very crispy. Strong strength finish, sour and dry, funky blueberries, floral and slightly leafy hops, with light cereal malts and some straw. Berliner Weisse style of sour. Very fresh and clean, yet slightly vinous. Sour as it should, some actual beer qualities, but it’s too much for be. The sour queen likes it. Nice blueberry feel, a bit too subtle. Not my type of beer, yet it feels like a solid craft. It’s tasty and I can manage to enjoy it. Too bad it hardly smells anything. Overall very good quality craft.
