English IPA, 6.5%: Cloudy and murky dark gold color with low activity but very yeasty. Creamy beige 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with faint legs. Flavors of lemon, caramel, barley, biscuits, orange peels, leafy and herbal hops. Smooth oily medium body with a light crisp. Medium strength finish, lots of dominant roasted sweet grains, some butterscotch, kinda earthy and very spicy, with thick leafy and floral hops. Has more of an English oriented sensation with a weak tropical feel, but a lot bolder than a typical English IPA. Lacks freshness, quite coarse on the tongue, and missing some carbonation a bit, making it less accessible. Interesting taste, it’s nice but quickly overwhelmed by the finish. Overall decent quality craft.
