Berliner Weisse, 4.5%: Bright pale yellow color with no activity. Soft foamy white 2 finger head, lasting around 2 minutes, no legs nor swirl effect, decent lacing. Flavors of apples, pears, sweet grains, wheat, Wild yeast, and floral hops. Slick medium body with dense prickly and fizzy carbonation. Strong finish, very sour and tart fruits, not vinous but sharp and dry, ending with some cereal and corn. A bit candy like similar to yellow jolly ranchers. Berliner Weisse type of brew, but overly sour, not well balanced (nor enough fruity) although not hindering the throat like vinegar. Also extremely carbonated, quite excessive. Lacks complexity and nothing really interesting. Overall below average quality craft, the raspberry version is way better.
