Deep murky dark amber color with tons of floating chunks of yeast. Thick foamy beige 2-3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with poor legs. Flavors of caramel, grapefruits, lemon, barley, clove, nutmeg, floral and herbal hops. Slick and smooth medium to full body with a sharp crisp. Strong strength finish, bready with a soft earthy feel, leafy herbal hops, lots of clove and citrusy yeast. Okay freshness. Lacks a bit of complexity and personality, feels like a cross red ale and IPA. Overall good quality craft.
