Belgian Strong Pale Ale, 8.5%
Brilliant straw color. Extra foamy persistent head, like a cloud that you could eat with a spoon. Incredibly well balanced aromas and flavors of grains and herbal hops, blended with a perfect fruity lemony sensation and a touch of spices.
The only drawback I have is a slight dry taste of alcohol at the end. Very nice slick roundness with a pleasant zesty feeling. Excellent aftertaste with great balance between sweetness and bitterness, intensity and length.
I can easily see why the Duvel is enjoyed by so many for its remarkable balance and craft. One of the best pale ale ever tasted.
