American IPA, 7%: Polished veiled and cloudy dark amber color with a powerful amount of activity. Creamy beige 2-3 finger head, lasting around 10-15 minutes, with very strong sparkly legs. Aromas of citrus hops and bready caramel. Flavors of orange, lemon, citrus fruits, piney, caramel, pineapples, floral and herbal spices. Sugary with a sharp feel. Thick full body with moderate crispy carbonation. Strong and long finish, ending with an highly leafy hoppy tea like feel, less tropical than most others, with some citrusy and piney tongue coat. Overall high quality craft offering a killer look and tons of powerful flavors that are well balanced. Decent freshness, silky body, with a nice buttery scent. Though a bit too intense for a single, less accessible.

Saison, 6%: Bright dark straw color with storming activity. With the yeast pour it gets deep cloudy with floating detritus. Creamy and frothy white 2-3 finger head, lasting around 15-20 minutes, with generous legs and swirl reaction. Flavors of lemon, orange, pineapple, wheat, brett yeast, and floral hops. Slick and silky medium to full body with a zesty sharp crisp. Medium strength finish, moderate straw and barnyard effect, some honey with flowery hops and a tropical feel. Soft dryness but a prominent maillard sensation. More hoppy and floral than usual, less of a « cheesy » wild profile. As more yeast is poured it gets more citrusy and lemony. This is a cross Saison/IPA. Very well rounded and highly fresh, though slightly too much sugars. Overall high quality craft.

Black IPA, 6.5%: Black opaque color. Creamy bubbly brown 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with good legs and swirl reaction. Flavors of walnuts, coffee, cocoa, dark grains, liquorice, prunes, and herbal hops. Silky and creamy medium body with a moderate crisp. Strong strength, light dark fruity feel, chalky with moderate spiciness and leafy hops, while deeply roasted like biting coffee beans. The hops are more herbal and less tropical, makes a less interesting mix that is quite bold for the ABV but still remains decently fresh. Overall very good quality craft.

Pumpkin Ale, 8.5%: Clear, slightly veiled, dark amber color with no activity. Light foamy beige 1-2 finger head, lasting around 2 minutes, with light legs but good lace and swirl effect. Flavors of pumpkins, barley, brown sugar, toffee, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and herbal hops. Slick medium body with a light crisp. Medium strength finish, spicy like a red ale but leveled a notch, nice roasted pumpkin and squash feel. Lots of sugars but well balanced from the spices and the leafy hops. Highly fresh and pleasant to drink. Perfect for autumn and halloween. Alcohol feel is hidden and incredibly treacherous. Overall high quality craft.

Dark Saison, 6%, 1 year old bottle : Almost opaque black color with a copper hue and not much activity. Creamy and frothy light brown 4 finger head, lasting around 15-20 minutes, with decent legs and good swirl reaction. Flavors of light roasted grains, wheat, grapefruits, soft coffee and chocolate, brett yeast, and floral hops. Slick and smooth medium body with a moderate crisp. Medium strength finish, faint leafy hoppy feel, mostly yeasty and wheathy. Unfortunately it didn’t age well I guess, slightly sour, no developed bardyard effect with muffled roasted flavors and hops. Feels more like a 4% table Saison. At least the freshness is good and easy to drink. Overall above average quality craft.

American Brown Ale, 9%: Deep murky brown color with a copper hue but no visible activity. Slightly creamy beige 2-3 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with decent lacing, poor legs and swirl reaction. Flavors of caramel, light roasted grains, light berries and cherries, coffee, and herbal hops. Slick and oily medium to full body with a moderate crisp. Medium strength finish, faint sugary feel of toffee with faint leafy hops and a hint of clove. Hard to and a point out some flavors, feels muffled and not well balanced with a tarnished finish (this is why you see lots of « light » and « faint » words in the review). I can’t understand what type of brew this is or what personality. At least the alcohol is well hidden and it’s easy to drink. Overall below average quality.

Strawberry fruity beer, 5%: Bright with a light veil, pinkish color with no activity. Poor foamy light pink 1 finger head, lasting around 2 minutes, legs. Flavors of strawberries, light sweet grains and hops but no wheat detected. Slick and smooth full body with a good crisp. Light strength finish, slightly tart and mostly fruity with a hint of leafy hops and grains. Highly accessible. Very basic but true to the style by offering a fresh fruity feel with lots of bubbles though not much complexity, just almost pure strawberries. Overall above average quality craft.

English Barleywine, 10.5%: Deep hazy and veiled brown color with a bright copper hue but no visible activity. Light creamy light brown 2 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, lacing is average but the swirl is decent. Flavors of prunes, raisins, liquorice, toffee, brown sugar, roasted grains dominant barley, and herbal hops. Slick and soft silky medium body with a light crisp. Strong finish yet not too excessive on the tongue coat, densely sugary and fruity, a hint of clove and soapy cheese effect. Pure barley sugar smell, quite inviting. Though the body gets a bit dull very fast as it warms. Rich intense caramel sweetness, too much but lots of spices kicks in so the balance is not too much affected, still makes a decent appetizer. Overall very good quality craft.

Flavors of caramel, light orange and lemon, sweet grains and herbal hops. Slick and smooth medium to full body with prickly and crispy carbonation. Light strength finish, bready with slightly flowery and leafy hops. More sugary than bitter. Being overly accessible, it lacks flavors and character. Though the body is well rounded and well refreshing. Overall average quality craft.

Gose, 4.9%: Clear straw color with a slight haze and low activity. Light foamy white 2-3 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with poor legs and average swirl effect. Flavors of pears, green grapes, sweet grains dominant wheat, salt, and floral hops. Slick and slightly oily medium body with a moderate crisp. Medium strength tart effect, well balanced and not too puckering. Very soft hoppy and grainy final, the spicy feel is tamarind, still lacks a bit of character and saltiness. Decent freshness and accessible. Clean cut Gose with no surprise. Overall a good quality craft, but you can easily find other better examples.
